The Supreme Court, yesterday, struck out Smart Adeyemi’s appeal seeking to quash the judgment of the lower courts affirming Usman Ododo as the All Progressive Congress (APC) flag bearer for Kogi State’s governorship election slated for November 11, 2023.

A judgment delivered by Justice Emmanuel Akomaye Agim held that the appeal was frivolous and awarded N1 million legal cost against the appellant to first and third respondents.

Justice Agim specifically said the appellant was unable to justify his petition for the appeal to succeed and was subsequently dismissed.
