Enduring to the end

Text: Matthew 24:10-13: “And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

2 Timothy 3:10-12, “But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”

Every child of God must realise that the world we live in can never be heaven. As long as we are in the world; suffering, affliction or trial are inevitable for children of God. The reason is that the enemy who was cast down into this world has corrupted it. He did it because he has lost heaven and wants to hinder believers from making it.

It is through much tribulation that we will enter heaven. If you are not ready to endure, then you are not fit for God’s kingdom. The rough road will enable us to pray and depend only on God. If we don’t pass through that rough road, we will become a little god and think that we have arrived and that is not the plan of God for us. Rather, God’s plan for us is to depend on Him. He wants us to know that this world is not our own; he wants us to know that we are strangers in this world and as strangers, we must never relax, or think that we have made it. He wants us to know that persecution and trial, are a must. If you don’t have persecution and trial and you relax, you will backslide and go to hell. If you think that this world is a final place, you will never have time for God. God wants us to understand that, as long as we are here, that we are brethren and not the owners of God’s power. Whatever power we are using is God’s power and it is given to us by his grace.

Matthew 7:13: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat;”

Convenient road where there is no trials, no affliction, no persecution, everything is right, leads to destruction. If you want to make heaven, endure and if you minus endurance, you have minus heaven as well. Every true child of God must be tested, tried and persecuted. You must pass through affliction before you can be perfected, otherwise you can’t enter there.

Job 23:10, “Therefore snares are round about thee, and sudden fear troubleth thee;” Hebrew 4:9, “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.”

If you are resting now you are wasting your time, as long as you have not entered the final rest, there is no rest for us; and there is no point for us to relax now. It is when we have crossed over, that we shall rest forever. Therefore, we are on a journey, when afflictions come our way, we must endure and keep on enduring until we get to our final destination, which is heaven. Tribulation and persecution are the instruments that will take us to heaven, therefore, serving God must take something from you before you get your reward from God. What have you given to God? Give him your patience and allow Him to make use of you.

Job 1:13-22, “And there was a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house: and there came a messenger unto Job, and said, the oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them: and the Sabeans fell upon them, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee…Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, and said, naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.”

Endurance will not allow you to speak anything against God, believing that no matter the situation the Lord will see you through. No matter the suffering or trials or afflictions, in everything say, God I give you the glory, no matter the delay in marriage, poverty, no matter the problems coming on your way, be ready to do the will of God in the phase of the opposition. When there is delay, will you endure? When people are criticising you without doing anything to them, will you endure?

Matthew 24:13, “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

If you will endure, it will provide the fruit of righteousness, remember something is ahead of us and that thing is incomparable with heaven, everything we are passing through, there is a role it will play in our life and all of them are instruments for perfection.

Romans 4:17-22, “(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, so shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.”

Abraham received the promised of God and he endured and patiently waited without murmuring and instead of murmuring, he was praising God and the Lord made the promise to come to pass and today, he is in the bosom of the father in heaven.

Even our Lord, Jesus Christ, passed through some afflictions and trials and while he was on the Cross of Calvary, he said it is finished because of you and me. Without that cross, the whole world would never have been saved. Why are you murmuring and complaining? He that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Revelation 21:3-4, “And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

Whatsoever you are passing through shall pass away and you shall meet with your father and you shall part no more, where there shall be no sorrow or tears. In this world, no matter what you have, there must be sorrow and death,

John 14:1-5, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Revelation 21:7, “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”

You have to endure and wait upon the Lord, because great benefits await all that will endure to the end. Let us endure like Job and our Lord Jesus Christ and all the apostles. Remember how they endured without sin and we shall enter into glory forever and ever in Jesus name.

If you endure at the end of this life, we shall meet in heaven.

Testimony Of The Lord’s Doing
Wow! Promoted From Cleaner To Administrative Manager
Psalm 75: 6-7 says: “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. 6: But God is the judge; he putteth down one, and setteth up another.”

The above quotation aptly describes my case. God in his infinite mercy promoted me even when I was not qualified.

My name is Sister Kelechi Ndelibe. I reside at Ijesha, Lagos, and became a member of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries in 2011. Since then, the Lord has been helping me. Praise the Lord!

My testimony is a proof to the statement of our General Overseer that says, “when we are not qualified, God of Chosen will qualify us.” P-r-a-i-s-e, the Lord!

I was working in a company as a cleaner, when our General Overseer called for a pledge for the solar light for the church. I sowed a paltry sum of N2, 000. And as l was sitting in the congregation, I heard the testimony of a brother, who said that he made a pledge and as soon as he redeemed his pledge, his salary was doubled. Quickly, l transferred my own pledge of N2, 000. And said, God that did it for this brother, please do it for me. Before this time our Managing Director had promised that he would give us bonus, but that it would not be money or food. So, when l heard that brother’s testimony, I prayed that God should double my salary too. That week, in my place of work, one of my colleagues (a cleaner too) made a mistake, CCTV caught him and the MD called and addressed all of us.

During the address, God of Chosen swung into action and the MD said, “You… (pointing at me), I heard you have knowledge of computer…” I said yes sir, but it has been long and I have not been practicing it. After the address we dispersed; I was already on my way home when l was called back and told that the chairman (M.D) was calling me. When l went to see him, he said: “Can you be confidential?” l said by the grace of God, he asked whether l can handle the office of an administrator and whether l can be trustworthy, l replied that God will help me. He then handed all the files and the system Administrative manager was using to me.

Brethren, this was how he made me the administrator of his company. P-r-a-i-s-e, the Lord! God of Chosen is so great.

I thank God, the most gracious, for qualifying me where l was not qualified. I pray for my G.O and all the Chosen members worldwide that heaven will be our portion at the end of this life in Jesus’ name!
