Wizkid’s manager, Jada P teases fans with an upcoming project

Notwithstanding Nigerian Grammy award winning singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by the stage name Wizkid’s recently announced break from music, he may have rescinded the decision, as he is set to release a new single sooner than anticipated.

This was made known by his manager, Jada P, during an engaging session with fans of the award-winning music superstar on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) when asked when Wizkid would be releasing Soundman Vol. 2. She responded with an eye emoji. Fans have eagerly anticipated volume two of the project, following the huge success of Soundman Vol. 1 that was released in December 2019.

With December fast approaching, fans and music enthusiasts say they are not ruling out the possibility that Big Wizzy as the singer is also called might release the project before the year runs out.

The global music icon had in a series of Instagram posts on Sunday, November 5, announced his decision to take a bow from music for other interests, stressing that he would be staying off music for about five years and considering veering into football or golf.

The Holla At Your Boy hit maker, who initially announced that he would be out of the studio for three or four years, said he was now considering extending the break to six years.

With the latest development, the Starboy Records chief seems to be focused on returning to the industry bigger and stronger, as he has been spotted in scenes that have left many guessing.

His recent visit to the multiple award-winning movie director, Kunle Afolayan somewhat revealed his next move is to venture into Nollywood, as the Essence crooner said he wants to become an actor because he wants to kiss women and shoot guns in movies.
