
Famed furniture maker and interior decorator, Ifeyinwa Ighodalo; the Managing Partner, Africa for Teasoo Consulting Limited and immediate past Special Adviser, Strategy, Policy, Projects and Performance Management to Edo State Government, Sarah Ajose-Adeogun; and Principal Consultant/CEO of HNC Professional Services Ltd and the immediate past Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria (SCGN), Mrs. Hilda Nkor; have been listed in Nigeria Women Annual: 100 Leading Women, 2024.
They join other accomplished women including t Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of the Vice President, Nana Shettima; the Acting Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc, Bolaji Agbede, the Minister of State for Police Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, among others.
“Nigeria Women Annual: 100 Leading Women in Nigeria”, is Nigeria’s most qualitative compendium that profiles outstanding women across different frontiers and they include innovators, barrier-breakers, activists, top bureaucrats, captains of industry, and celebrities.
The compendium is usually unveiled on March 8 as part of the activities to mark the International Women’s Day (IWD). This year’s event was held with theme, ‘Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress’, to spotlight critical topics essential for fostering inclusive and equitable societies through the economic empowerment of women and girls.
Ifeyinwa Ighodalo is the founder of DOII Designs, a furniture and interior design company in Lagos. Ifeyinwa was born in the city of Ibadan in 1960.
The storied interior decorator holds a B.Sc. in Accountancy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where she graduated as one of the best students.
Sarah Ajose-Adeogun nee Esangbedo is an accomplished professional with over three decades of multidisciplinary experience in both the Public and Private Sectors with the last three years (2021-2024) spent as the Special Adviser Strategy, Policy, Projects and Performance Management to Edo State Government and an attendee of the Edo State Executive Council for this period. Before then, she spent over 20 years in the oil and gas industry working with the Shell Petroleum Development Company and her subsidiaries both locally and internationally. She holds a B.A. in English, a PGD in Business Administration and a Masters in Management.
She is currently the Managing Partner, Africa for Teasoo Consulting Limited, a consulting firm focused on driving positive change and fostering sustainable growth for organisations and governments. Sarah is a Certified Project Manager, Business Analyst, Mediator and an experienced Change Management Consultant. She is a member of CIPM and an Associate member of Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ).
Nkor is the Principal Consultant/CEO of HNC Professional Services Ltd and the immediate past Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria (SCGN). She has over 30 years of working experience in the health, banking and corporate sectors of the economy as well as in public, private and not-for-profit organizations. She holds a B.Sc. in Sociology and an MBA in Strategy, Innovation, and Sustainability.
She has successfully designed and executed programmes of Learning, both nationally and internationally, targeting board chairmen, directors, company secretaries, board committees (Audit, Risk, Remuneration and Nomination) and executive management. A certified governance practitioner, Nkor is a Life member of WIMBIZ. She is also the current head of the Governance Group of Commonwealth Businesswomen -Africa.
