The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has said there will be a five-hour power interruption for subscribers on the Abuja Distribution Company (DisCo).
The General Manager (GM) Public Affairs of TCN, Ndidi Mbah made the announcement in a statement shared on the company’s X account on Monday morning.
“The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) hereby informs the public that there will be a planned maintenance on the capacitive voltage transformer along the 132kV Apo-Karu transmission line today, Monday, July 29, 2024, from 9 am to 2 pm,” Mbah said.
“During the five-hour maintenance, there will be power interruption as Abuja DisCo will not be able to offtake bulk power supply from Karu, Akwanga and Keffi 132kV Transmission Substations during the stated period.

“Kindly note that maintenance of the lines is necessary for optimal performance of TCN’s network in that axis.”
