Chief Executive Officer of Amborion Media Global and convener of The Ambassadors Summit Africa,  Joshua Oyeniyi, has been awarded an honorary doctorate by Prowess University, Delaware, United States.

As a consummate businessman, investment adviser and strategy development expert, Oyeniyi has dedicated almost a decade and a half to building and developing thousands of young talents and professionals across technology, media, hospitality, energy and human capital development sectors.

He was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration (Honoris Causa) in recognition of his achievements and commitment to integrity, priority, accountability and transparency in quality service delivery in his private and public life.

The recipient, among 35 delegates, invited to attend the Sustainability Forum at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington, United States, in 2022, was presented with the award at a ceremony organised by the university at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

In a letter of nomination sent to Oyeniyi, the ivory tower said:  “The Institute of Arts Management and Professional Studies, in conjunction with its Advisory Board Members, is pleased to notify you of your nomination for Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration (Honoris Causa) from Prowess University, Delaware, USA (PU).”

It went on: “Your nomination hinged on your demonstration of integrity, priority, accountability and transparency in Quality Service Delivery in private and public life.

“No doubt, you have been singled out as a proponent of Peace, Security, Justice and Equity; Humanitarianism, and Transformational Legislative Leadership, a firm believer in selfless service to humanity. You have been identified by our investigative team and confirmed by opinion moulders across the country as a beacon of hope to the underprivileged in society.

“It is at the backdrop of all these, that your nomination was made and endorsed unanimously by the Advisory Board Members of IAMPS and the Award Selections Committee, headed by Professor Chidi Justice, an experienced university don.”

Responding, Oyeniyi thanked the university for the honour, noting that it was a call to do more for society and humanity.
