The family of the late Sir Thomas Obioha Okonkwo have announced the death of their beloved mother, Lady Nneoma Comfort Achufuiwe Okonkwo, which occurred on July 1, 2024, aged 74.

Lady Okonkwo’s body will be laid to rest on August 7, 2024, at her residence in Umuoshi Avutu, Obowo, Imo State, after a funeral service at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Avutu, Obowo, by 11:00 a.m. A service of songs will be held at her residence on August 6, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren and a host of relatives.
