Mary Nneamaka Nwafor, better known as Nne, is a 22-year-old entrepreneur and ex-Big Brother Naja reality TV star from Anambra State. She graduated with top honours from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Akwa, where she excelled academically and developed a love for reading, researching and playing basketball.

Nne’s path to fame took a significant step forward when she entered the Big Brother Naija Season 9 house. She formed a dynamic duo called Ndi Nne with her aunt, Chinne. Known for her independence and reserved personality.

Growing up with her siblings, Nne experienced a strong sense of togetherness and encouragement within her family. She attended local schools in Anambra State, where she quickly distinguished herself for her academic achievements and athletic talents.

Nne’s thirst for knowledge and love for learning allowed her to excel in her studies, and she developed a deep interest in reading, researching, and playing basketball.

Before her appearance on the Big Brother Naija Season 9 tagged ‘No Lose Guard’, Nne had already achieved significant success in the business world. Nne Nwafor had also established a successful beauty line that offers a variety of skincare and cosmetic products, showcasing her passion for entrepreneurship. In addition to her entrepreneurial pursuits, Nne is an avid reader, researcher, and basketball player.

Nne, who was evicted from the House on August 11, 2024, said her experience was exhilarating and adventurous. “We had a really good time in the house, honestly, I enjoyed myself.”

What made her stay memorable?
“Let’s start with the beauty of the house; the house is very beautiful, it has every single thing that we need. From the kitchen to the room, everything is almost perfect.”

She added: “I have learnt how to have patience when it comes to dealing with people, I feel that if everything is fire for fire every time, you will not be able to cohabit with people. There are lots of people that don’t know each other before coming to live under the same roof so, patience is really key.”

Did she see her eviction coming?
She drew a long face and said, “no, I didn’t see it coming at all. A lot of people were angry about it and I felt the same way, I was disappointed, I was angry but coming out of the house, I accepted it and made peace with it.”

What was her relationship with the Streeze in the house?
“I had a closer relationship with Mayor Frosh and we were cool in the house. I didn’t have a close relationship with Toby Forge, but with Mayor Frosh we were cool, we had handshakes, and we used to talk about goals for the future and others,” she said.

But she wouldn’t consider herself as having a date in the House. “Nobody honestly. All my relationships in Big Brother Naija House were purely platonic. I never got to a stage to consider a relationship with any guy in the house,” she confessed.

On Streeze’s eviction?
She said, “I wasn’t really surprised. Firstly, we wanted the people that brought us out to be out as well. They were very low on the polls so, it wasn’t a surprise that they came out.”

What should we be expecting from you hence?
“Right now, I have a fragrance brand called perfume hive. The goal is to start curating fragrances here in Nigeria, expanding our reach in the fragrance industry. I am also looking into modelling because I have the height. Nigerians should expect everything beautiful from me.”
