The state Commandant of the corps, Mr Olatunde Maku, issued the warning on Tuesday during a muster parade at the Command’s Headquarters in Awka.
Maku said that there was a need for discipline, professionalism, excellence, and exceptional operational performance among personnel serving in the state.
“This warning complies with a directive from the Commandant-General, who emphasized the need for enhanced discipline and operational excellence, among officers.
“Do not participate in illicit activities, such as job racketeering, employment, and promotion scams, as offenders will face dismissal.

“As officers, you need to maintain a professional image through proper dress code, attitude, and behavior, especially during official working hours.
“I’m also urging individuals, who falsify their records, author anonymous petitions against the corps or refuse transfers to have a rethink because these are considered serious offenses.
”Rather than resist transfers, it should be seen as an opportunity for career growth and development,” the commandant said.
He highlighted some of the initiatives undertaken by the Commandant-General, Ahmed Audi, and his management team to address stagnation and promote personnel development as well as enhance pension benefits and improve overall welfare package for the corps.
He also reminded officers of their core responsibilities, including crisis management, safeguarding critical national assets and infrastructure as well as eschewing unhealthy competition with sister security agencies.
