inDrive.Freight, the logistics arm of the popular ride-hailing platform inDrive, is experiencing rapid growth in Nigeria as businesses and individuals increasingly turn to the service to transport goods efficiently.
The platform, which offers a seamless solution for moving both heavy loads and personal belongings, has become a go-to for users seeking hassle-free logistics, whether for relocating apartments or delivering business inventories.
Since the beginning of 2024, inDrive.Freight has recorded remarkable success, with over 60 per cent increase in orders between January and July.
The number of active drivers on the platform has also surged by 50 per cent each month, creating reliable income opportunities for many drivers nationwide.
Notably, around 20 per cent of these drivers are under 30 years old, emphasising the platform’s role in addressing youth unemployment amidst Nigeria’s challenging economic landscape and empowering young Nigerians with steady and reliable income.
In an economy where stable job opportunities are scarce, inDrive.Freight is helping young Nigerians secure a reliable income while contributing to the economic stability of their communities.
The influx of younger drivers provides them with a reliable income and contributes to the overall economic stability of their communities.
The Senior Business Development Manager at inDrive, Timothy Oladimeji said, “We are committed to growing our business and positively impacting the lives of young Nigerians. The strong growth we’ve seen in the past months is a testament to the trust our users place in us, and we’re excited to bring inDrive.Freight to more cities across Nigeria.”
Currently operating in Lagos, inDrive.Freight is preparing for its next phase of expansion to Abuja.
Oladimeji said this move will allow more Nigerians to experience the platform’s reliable logistics solutions, further cementing its reputation as a trusted partner for both businesses and individuals across the country.
