The lingering dispute between the controversial Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar, seems to have come to a halt following the recent letter of apology tendered to Apostle Johnson Suleman.

The lingering rift involving the controversial Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar appears to have finally been resolved after she recently issued a formal letter of apology to Apostle Johnson Suleman.

In 2022, there were reports of Halima Abubakar accusing Apostle Suleman of not fulfilling his promise to marry her. She also claimed that he had caused her to suffer from an undisclosed life-threatening ailment for several years.

In the letter dated 5th October, Halima noted that her accusations were false and regrettable.

She further appealed to the Apostle to forgive her for the damage caused to his wife, Dr. Mrs. Lizzy Suleman.

The letter read: “I am writing to you today to accept the fallacies I made against you on social media and to offer my sincerest apologies.

“After deep retrospection, and for my conscience to be in accordance with God, I have realised the depth of the harm, pains, and distress caused by my lies.

“I admit that I made false allegations against you and also regret my actions and the damage I caused to you, your wife, Dr. Mrs. Lizzy Suleman, your family, and the leaders of the Omega Fire Ministry.

“With this letter, I humbly ask for your forgiveness, recognizing that my apology cannot undo the harm, pains, and distress I caused, and I ask you to find a place in your heart to forgive me as I was not thinking right then. Sir, you have done a lot for humanity; please extend your hands of forgiveness toward me.

“Once again, Sir, I am truly sorry for all the hurt and distress I caused you, your family, and your ministry.”
