
After weeks of dedicated effort in production, Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution Limited is excited to announce the upcoming release of its much-anticipated Nollywood romantic comedy, titled “A Romantic Comedy.” This film stars Marcy Dolapo Oni as Lara and Taye Arimoro as Tobi.

The movie is set to hit cinemas screens across French-speaking West Africa on November 8, 2024.
Written and directed by Nigerian actress and filmmaker Segilola Ogidan, A Romantic Comedy promises to bring audiences a delightful blend of humour, love, and second chances.
The film follows the story of a PR expert Lara, whose world is turned upside down when she is forced to work closely with her ex-boyfriend, tech mogul Tobi. After being dumped on her 17th birthday, Lara has sworn off love, but the reunion with Tobi brings a whirlwind of emotions and the unexpected. With her career on the line and old feelings resurfacing, will Lara be able to navigate the complexities of love and ambition?
The star-studded cast also features Nengi Adoki, Damilare Kuku, Shaffy Bello, and Uchechukwu Abuah in supporting roles, delivering a captivating performance that will resonate with audiences.

The film is produced by Barbara Babarinsa, known for her work on Adire, Tokunbo, and The Birth.
Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution Limited, a leader in the region, is handling distribution.
The company previously brought hit films such as Ini Usendiah’s Trepidation and David Gee Ahanmisi’s The Other One to screens across French West Africa.
