The Global Leader, Kingdom Impact Vision International Outreach (KIVI), Evangelist Junior Uwaubani, has called on various church leaders in Nigeria and beyond to jettison self doctrinal differences and come together to fulfil the mandate of evangelising all the nations in the world, because the Church does not have the luxury of time.

Uwaubani made the call during a special lunch organised by KIVI for church leaders to brainstorm on how together the mandate of taking the gospel to every part of the world can be successfully executed.

The event that coincided with Uwaubani’s birthday took place at Radisson Hotel, GRA, Ikeja.

“I believe it is time to consider the heartbeat of our Master, Lord Jesus Christ concerning the unity of the Church which would go a long way to enhancing the fulfilment of the great commission.

“It is evident that time is not at our disposal, hence, denominational barriers, pride of owning a big church and all other forms of differences should be jettisoned for us to immediately come together and fulfill the great commission, the urgent task our Master committed unto us.

“KIVI with the unambiguous hunger and thirst to fulfil the great commission, at present, is active in 28 countries and ready to work with churches and leaders who stand on the five core beliefs that Jesus came, He died on the cross, believe that He rose up from the dead, believe that He is coming back again and believe in the Holy Spirit,” he said.

He noted that KIVI which is not a church, not involve in politics, and does not discuss doctrines of churches, is prepared to collaborate with churches of like minds, evangelise together and deliver the converts to the churches that are expected to nurture the converts to maturity.

He firmly believes that God will hold those churches accountable for souls handed over to them
and the type of doctrines they employ to nurture them.

National Leader, KIVI, Pastor Abiodun Williams said God is interested in unity according to His prayers for His Church in the book of John, chapter 17, verse 21.

She emphasized that the few selected gospel leaders were brought together to have a meaningful exchange of ideas, learn, connect and plan for greater evangelistic impact.

Also at the event was the General Overseer, The Abundant Life Gospel Church and Vice-Chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Rev. Janet Onaolapo.

Onaolapo said the motto of Lagos Chapter of PFN “New Dawn” borders on leveraging on the unity of various churches to fulfill the mandate of evangelisation. She added that it would, however, take a lot of patience, discussion and collaborative spirit since every church already has her own structure, adding that the mission of KIVI is nonetheless achievable.
