Founder and creative director, Ejiro Amos Tafiri brand, Ejiro Amos Tafiri has thrilled fashion lovers to her newest collection, titled The Symphony of Convergence.

Speaking at the Spring Summer 2025 (SS25) fashion show in Lagos, Tafiri, said the collection amplifies cultures and was inspired from all her travels in the year.

She said the collection is a convergence of cultures, dress styles and details from all her travels this year across Asia, Europe and Africa, adding that she wants to tell truly African stories with her pieces and craftsmanship.

“You see a lot of abada, buba, danshiki in the collection. It’s about taking traditional African attire and putting it on the world map as contemporary outfits,” she said.

She noted that it took her two months to ome up with the collection and the fashion show featured 100 models.

Speaking on affordability, she said her brand is affordable for those who understand the need for luxury because when you buy her pieces, they are never last season, people today are wearing things they bought from me 10 years ago, it’s a piece that would lasta life time so it’s absolutely worth it.

Through her innovative approach, Tafiri is not only enhancing traditional attire but also paving the way for a new generation of Nigerian fashion. Her vision, grounded in cultural authenticity and modern appeal, aims to place Nigerian traditional attire firmly in the global fashion ecosystem.
