AbdulRazaq, Saraki felicitate with Sulu-Gambari on 29th coronation

The duo of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State and former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, have felicitated with the Emir of Ilorin, Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on his 29th coronation anniversary.

While the governor, yesterday stated that the emir’s last 29 years had seen more positive growths across sectors, Saraki described the monarch’s reign as a blessing to the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara at large.

Saraki, a former governor hinged his position on the “immeasurable impact of the traditional ruler in fostering unity, promoting peace, and ensuring development across the state.”

Governor AbdulRahman said the emir’s “status rising in national importance, population, harmony, and prestige associated with important landmarks now dotting the southernmost emirate city.”

“We thank his Royal Highness for his strong leadership, his support for the people and government, and the grace with which he handles delicate matters of public importance,” the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, issued yesterday in a statement.

Saraki, in a statement by his Press Officer (Local Matters), Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, also lauded the revered monarch for his leadership as Chairman of Kwara State Traditional Council.
