
The Benue House of Assembly on Thursday screened and confirmed board members of the Assembly Service Commission with Mrs. Ngohemba Agaigbe as chairman.
The screening and confirmation took place during plenary in Makurdi.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) gathered that Agaigbe represented Gboko East at the state assembly twice, precisely during the eighth and ninth assemblies.

Other members of the commission were Miss Dorcas Mbatiav, Mr. Otumala Ogbu, Mr. Isaac Aondo, and Mr. Dennis Umbur.
NAN reports that all the nominees were asked to bow and leave.

The Speaker, Hyacinth Dajo, said that all the nominees were confirmed as members of the Assembly Service Commission.
Similarly, the house also confirmed Mr. John Hwande as the clerk of the house following the retirement of Mr. Bernard Nule.
