City Boy Movement awards N14 Million to Ogun State tech innovators

The City Boy Movement, Ogun State chapter, has awarded N14 million to winners of its technology grant initiative.

The competition, initially valued at N10 million, received a N4 million boost from co-host Seyi Tinubu, impressed by the finalists’ presentations.

The event, which was the Annual Youth Summit held at the June 12 Cultural Centre, underscored the organisation’s commitment to empowering young innovators.

The innovation grant competition showcased creative solutions to societal, environmental and economic challenges, demonstrating Nigeria’s youth potential to drive transformative change through technology.

Part of a larger N45 million empowerment program, winners receive financial rewards, mentorship, industry networking and resources to scale innovations. The summit featured business grants, scholarships and financial support for market women.

Guests included Governor Dapo Abiodun, Senator Adeola Solomon and Minister Bosun Tijani.

The event highlighted the City Boy Movement’s dedication to supporting innovative ideas and empowering Nigeria’s future.
