The Speaker, Kwara House of Assembly, Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has enjoined Christian faithful to celebrate Christmas with love, kindness, and generosity in the spirit of the festive season.

Danladi-Salihu stated this in a statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Sheu Abdulkadir on Wednesday, congratulating Christians on the occasion of the 2024 Christmas celebration.

“Christmas is a season of love, kindness, generosity, humility, good neighborliness, magnanimity, tolerance, self-sacrifice, and perseverance as demonstrated by Jesus Christ during his lifetime.”

‘He also urged Christians to remain hopeful and continue to be patriotic by supporting both the state and Federal governments in their quest to fix Nigeria and make it a better place for all.

He pledged his commitment to support the government’s policies and programmes that would improve the welfare of the people.
