In a move to enhance educational infrastructure and fulfil his campaign promises, Hon. Charity Aiguobarueghian, Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly and representative of Ovia North East Constituency One, has inaugurated a newly constructed block of six classrooms at Payne Primary School in Evboneka, Ward 8, Ovia North East, Edo State.

The project, entirely constructed from the foundation to the roofing, features modern facilities, including chairs, desks, office spaces, and toilet amenities, marking a significant improvement in the school’s learning environment. Unlike refurbishment works, this construction underscores a comprehensive approach to addressing the infrastructural needs of the community.

At the inauguration ceremony, Aiguobarueghian handed over 50 pairs of three-in-one chairs and desks to the school, reiterating his commitment to developmental projects in his constituency. “Fulfilling your promise is now our duty,” he emphasized.

The project has been commended by residents and beneficiaries, who have praised Aiguobarueghian’s philanthropic gesture towards the promotion and development of education in the community. “We are very excited with this great impact and contributions towards a better future for our children in this community,” said a resident.

This project is one of the many executed by Charity Aiguobarueghian in the last one year, including construction of six Classroom Blocks, offices, Ise Primary School, Utekon, Ward 4, Ovia North East, grading of earth roads at Igue- Iheya community ward 6 and erosion control at Iguosa Housing Estate, Ward 6

Other landmark projects include the rehabilitation of roads at the University of Benin, contribution to the independent power plant in the university and construction of motorised bore-hole at Abumwenre community ward 9.
