
Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has assured the residents of the state that his administration would focus on infrastructure development as well as prioritise their welfare in the New Year.
While renewing his commitment to reengineer the state across the board, Aiyedatiwa stated that the New Year would usher in a new vista of development across the 18 local councils of the state.
The governor stressed this in his New Year message to the people, assuring them that 2025 would bring dividends of good governance that would restore their faith in the government.
In the New Year message made available by his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, the governor commended the various stakeholders, including traditional rulers, religious leaders, labour leaders, security agencies, and the media, for their support, and lauded the state’s workforce for their hard work and sacrifice in the past year .
According to him, the 2025 ‘Budget of Recovery’ would be faithfully executed to drive rapid development, while also aiming to complete ongoing projects across the state.
Reflecting on the past year’s progress, the governor commended the peaceful conduct of stakeholders during the electioneering, and thanked the people for the overwhelming mandate given to him to lead beyond 2025.
