A former 2019 APC presidential aspirant, Charles Udeogaranya has commended President Bola Tinubu 2025 New Year’s speech to Nigerians.

Udeogaranya said the speech which underscored urgency of food security, security of lives and property, fair energy cost and strengthening of Naira with boost on the nations economy, amongst others, reflected the mood of the nation and gave hope for a better Nigeria in the new year, if indeed all the promised notes will be pursued vigorously.

The politician pointed out that the speech was in total contrast against the president posture during his maiden media chat, which were mainly in denial of the prevailing harsh conditions his administration reforms has subjected Nigerians into.

Udeogaranya also commended the President on the renewal of the Naira swap with the Chinese Reminbi / Yuan agreement and increase boost on exports, a cause which he (Udeogaranya) campaigned vigorously with Chinese authorities during his tour of China last year.

In a press release sent in on the New Year day, the Anambra born politician concluded with an advisory note” what is now left is to ensure that these words of hope enshrined on paper are implemented religiously with all hands on deck to it’s positive impact on Nigerians”.
