Nigerian man arrested in India for smuggling meth

A Nigerian identified as John Okaber, a.k.a Kempala, who was wanted in connection with the alleged smuggling of methamphetamine, has been arrested by Chennai City police in New Delhi, India.

The Hindu reported that the police had detained 15 persons after the arrest of a person named S. Arunkumar, of Ambattur, during an inspection at Naduvankarai bridge in October last year, wherein more than a kilogram of methamphetamine was seized.

Okaber was suspected to be involved in the crime, prompting a special police force to be on the lookout for him.
He was apprehended in New Delhi after police received information on his whereabouts on January 3.
