Amid the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has visited Governor Siminalayi Fubara, affirming him as the leader of the party in Rivers State.

The NWC members stated this during a closed-door meeting with the Governor at Government House, Port Harcourt.

They also celebrated the recent court judgment nullifying the purported PDP congresses in the state.

The PDP National Treasurer, Mr. Yayari Ahmed Mohammed, who spoke on behalf of his colleagues, expressed their support for Governor Fubara.
