Okiki Oludare, popularly known as Kiki Oludare, is a UK-based Nigerian entrepreneur making waves in the global business landscape. As the brain behind KS Enterprise, his ventures span luxury car rentals, car manufacturing, real estate, and soon, tech with a ride-hailing app. In this exclusive interview with The Guardian, Okiki Oludare shares insights into his journey, the growth of KS Enterprise, and his plans for the future.
Okiki, can you tell us about the journey of KS Enterprise and how it all began?
KS Enterprise started as a passion project. Growing up, I always had an affinity for luxury cars. I spent a significant part of my life in the UK, where I observed a growing demand for top-tier luxury services. I wanted to create a brand that wasn’t just about renting luxury cars but delivering unforgettable experiences. That’s how KS Enterprise was born. What began as a rental business in the UK has now evolved into something much bigger, and the journey has been incredible.
Your company has grown beyond car rentals. Can you tell us about your expansions into real estate and car manufacturing?
Absolutely. As a business, it’s important to evolve and diversify. In real estate, we launched KS Estates in the UK, investing £4 million to convert pubs into residential flats. The housing crisis is a significant issue, and we saw an opportunity to make a difference while expanding our portfolio.
In the U.S., we’ve set up a manufacturing hub in Los Angeles, focusing on luxury Escalades for the American market and custom Sprinters for Africa. This move allows us to tap into the manufacturing side of the industry, providing tailored solutions for our clients while expanding our global reach.
You’ve announced plans to launch a ride-hailing app. What makes this project different?
The ride-hailing industry is competitive, but we see an opportunity to innovate. Our app will go beyond just rides—it will prioritize luxury, sustainability, and user experience. From electric and hybrid options to enhanced safety features, we want to redefine urban mobility. We’re currently in the final stages of naming the app, and our pilot launch will be in the UK. It’s a project I’m very excited about.
Your network includes global stars like Davido and Burna Boy. Has this influenced your business, and do you see yourself venturing into entertainment again?
Building relationships with talented individuals like Davido and Burna Boy has been inspiring. While I’ve focused on other ventures, entertainment is something I’m passionate about, and who knows? It’s a possibility I won’t rule out in the future. For now, my focus is on growing KS Enterprise into a global powerhouse.
What’s next for KS Enterprise?
The future is about scaling and innovation. We’re looking to expand the manufacturing hub into other regions, roll out the ride-hailing app globally, and explore more opportunities in real estate and luxury services. My goal is to create a brand that stands for excellence, no matter the industry.
Finally, as a Nigerian who has achieved so much internationally, what does this mean to you?
It means everything. Nigeria is my home, and it shaped who I am. My success is a testament to the resilience and creativity of Nigerians. I’m proud to represent my roots on a global stage, and I hope to inspire others to dream big and work hard.
