Her360 empowers young women to redefine beauty, challenge harmful narratives

In a world where beauty is often defined by external appearances, Her360, an initiative by Amaryadotcom, is reshaping the narrative by promoting the wholeness of beauty—both inside and out.

Founded by Rahma Adam Mohammed, a mother of three and an expert in beauty and wellness and business information technology, Her360 is on a mission to help women achieve internal healing while maintaining external confidence.

On April 3, 2025, Her360 hosted a Women Empowerment Program in Abuja, where over 20 teenage girls gathered to learn about self-worth, emotional healing, and personal development.

Designed exclusively for female teenagers, the event aimed to shape the next generation into strong-willed, purpose-driven women capable of breaking negative cycles and rewriting societal narratives.

The modern world bombards young women with harmful ideologies, degrading teachings, and misleading standards through social media and mainstream platforms.

Many young girls are conditioned to measure their worth by unrealistic beauty standards, material wealth, and social validation—often at the cost of their mental and emotional well-being.

Recognising this alarming trend, Her360 was created to equip both teenage girls and women with the right knowledge, confidence, and resilience to rise above these damaging influences.

During the programme, Rahma Adam Mohammed emphasised the importance of self-care, especially in a society where women are expected to constantly give without replenishing themselves.

“Women are like kettles; they keep pouring into others—children, husbands, and society—without taking the time to refill themselves. When they are drained and not refilled, psychological and emotional struggles set in,” she explained.

Throughout the programme, teenage participants engaged in sessions designed to equip them with essential life skills such as managing identity warfare, building confidence, setting goals through vision boards, and creative expression.

Financial literacy and money management were also key topics, providing insights into saving, budgeting, and achieving financial independence.

Additionally, wellness and mindfulness practices, including guided yoga and meditation, helped promote mental clarity, relaxation, and emotional balance.

Her360 stands firm in its belief that beauty is not just about physical appearance—it is a reflection of a woman’s internal peace, confidence, and emotional stability.

Many women today struggle with deep-seated emotional wounds due to toxic societal norms, dysfunctional upbringings, and unresolved trauma.

“Many women don’t know how to articulate what they feel inside. They are beautiful on the outside but toxic on the inside due to past wounds and emotional burdens. Beauty is not just what you see; it’s how you feel within,” Mohammed stated.

Through services like meditation, aqua-yoga, reflective yoga, and Tai Chi, Her360 provides young women with the tools to heal, de-stress, and embrace inner peace.

As a flagship initiative of Amaryadotcom, Her360 is more than just an empowerment programme—it is a movement dedicated to helping women find balance, heal from past struggles, and become the best versions of themselves.

The programme is determined to create a new generation of women who refuse to conform to degrading societal norms but instead embrace their true worth, intelligence, and power.

With plans to expand its reach, Her360 aims to impact even more young women across Nigeria, ensuring they experience complete wellness—physically, emotionally, and psychologically.
