The management of Navy Holdings Limited (NHL) has issued a strong warning to the general public following the circulation of a viral video online that features individuals fraudulently posing as agents for the sale of properties within Lake View Estate, Navy Town, Asokoro.

In an official statement, signed by the spokesman, Commander Abdulsalam Sani, NHL emphasized that it has not authorized any third party or individual to act as an agent in the sale of its land or properties. As the sole owner of Navy lands, NHL conducts all property transactions directly with subscribers.

The company has urged prospective buyers to exercise caution and avoid engaging with individuals or groups claiming to represent NHL in any property-related dealings.

“Navy Holdings Limited has not engaged any agent for the sale of its properties. We deal directly with all prospective subscribers and advise the public to be wary of anyone fronting as an agent,” the statement read.

The organisation also disclosed that investigations are underway to identify and bring to justice those behind the fraudulent scheme.

Individuals interested in genuine property transactions with NHL are encouraged to visit the company’s office located on Aso Clinic Road, Asokoro, directly opposite the Army War College Nigeria.

NHL has appealed to media outlets and the general public to help disseminate this information widely to prevent unsuspecting Nigerians from falling victim to property scams.
