Members of the Segun Adesanya Campaign Organisation (SACO) have picked up the Chairmanship nomination form of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its candidate, Segun Adesanya.
Recall APC in the guidelines released recently said chairmanship aspirants are to pay N5 million as a nomination fee and an additional N500,000 as an administrative fee.
SACO’s strategic team in an update on Wednesday, April 23 said: “The form for the chairmanship nomination is finally obtained this morning from the Party Secretariat @ ACME Road, Ogba.
“On the team is Deputy DG, Ronke Daniels, Coordinating Secretary Mr Adesola Bakare (Bouncing), Mr Shadrack Sanusi and with Mr Tunde Balogun also obtaining his councillorship form.”
The group said Adesanya was the right person to take over from the outgoing administration led by Hon. Kolade Alabi David.
It further noted that Adesanya was coming with a transformative leadership that would build on the successes of the Alabi administration.
It said: “Adesanya is a grassroots politician who will bring his wealth of experience and expertise to bear. His vision and track record align seamlessly with the high standards of governance set by Hon. Kolade Alabi.”
The group described Adesanya as one with competence and capacity for the task ahead among the rest of other contenders
“Adesanya is a man with innovative thinking. He’s capable, and what gives confidence is that Adesanya is very much aware of the expectations of the person on the street.”
