The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted full accreditation to six academic programmes at Summit University, Offa, in Kwara State.
The accredited programmes—microbiology, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration, and Political Science—have been awarded full accreditation status for a period of five years, affirming the university’s adherence to national academic standards.
Reacting to the development, the National Publicity Secretary of the Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Dr. Sola Hassan, congratulated the faith-based institution, describing the achievement as a testament to its commitment to academic excellence.
“This milestone reflects Summit University’s robust academic structure, highly qualified faculty, modern learning facilities, and unwavering dedication to maintaining both national and international standards in higher education,” Dr. Hassan stated.
As the 2025/2026 admission season opens, the Ansar-ud-Deen Society is encouraging prospective students and parents to consider Summit University for its strong academic profile and its distinctive Transformative Skills Framework.
“This framework equips students with future-relevant skills in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Financial Literacy, Renewable Energy, Global Citizenship, and Acadopreneurship—ensuring that graduates are not only academically competent but also future-ready,” the society emphasised.
The university also offers a range of scholarship opportunities to support deserving students in their academic journey.
