In recognition of her exemplary contributions to process innovation, operational excellence, and customer-centric transformation across Nigeria’s service sectors, Dekolo Esinjolomi Esther was conferred a Fellowship of the Business Process Management Institute (BPMI).
The fellowship was announced at the institute’s annual Professional Leadership and Innovation Summit held in Lagos, where Dekolo was lauded for her outstanding achievements in driving strategic process optimization and stakeholder-centered service delivery in real estate, cooperative finance, and customer service management.
Dekolo, who at the time served as a Business Communications and Real Estate Support Specialist at Chevron Employee Multipurpose Cooperative Society (CEMCS), had already distinguished herself by leading multiple initiatives that enhanced vendor performance, streamlined property documentation workflows, and improved financial reconciliation accuracy across billion-naira portfolios.
In her acceptance speech, Dekolo expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the relevance of agile, data-driven systems in modern business management.
“Process efficiency is the foundation for scalable growth and sustained customer satisfaction. I am honored to receive this Fellowship and encouraged to continue advocating for structured, people-focused business transformation,” she said.
She credited her experience across multidisciplinary roles—from real estate operations and corporate communications to IT support and cooperative loan management—as instrumental in building the skillset required to deliver measurable impact.
“When systems align with strategy, and teams are empowered by clear processes, the results speak for themselves,” Dekolo added.
President of BPMI, Dr. Yahaya Fufore, described Dekolo as a “true innovator and process strategist,” noting that her body of work reflected the institute’s values of efficiency, accountability, and service excellence.
“From digital transformation to process documentation, Dekolo has shown a clear pattern of leadership and vision. She doesn’t just execute tasks—she builds systems that elevate organizations,” Dr. Yusuf said.
Before the fellowship, Dekolo had already earned widespread recognition within the cooperative and real estate sectors for her role in optimizing internal systems, coordinating high-profile member engagement events, and achieving 100% accuracy in real estate transaction documentation.
Her work eventually earned her the Innovation in Design Award from a Cooperative Industry Association in the same year—a testament to her ability to blend operational functionality with creative excellence.
Dekolo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan and has since completed an MBA in Strategic Management and Financial Services. She is also certified in Advanced Project Management, Customer Experience, and Digital Marketing, and is a member of multiple professional bodies, including the Nigerian Institute of Management and the Customer Experience Professionals Association.
