The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche, has warned that musicians who use their God-given talent to glorify satan will face severe judgment.
Enenche gave the warning during the second service of the church’s Testimonies and Thanksgiving Service on Sunday.
While addressing the congregation, the fiery preacher condemned artistes who, instead of serving God with their voices, choose to promote immoral content and glorify satan through their music.
“There’s nothing you have that you were not given,” he said. “‘What hast thou that thou has not received? And if you have received it, why do you behave like you have not received it?’”
The cleric stressed that the ability to sing is a divine gift, and questioned why some musicians misuse that gift.
“If you know how to sing, who gave you the singing voice and who denied the other person the singing voice? How much did you buy it?”
Enenche, known for his strong moral stance, added, “I cannot begin to imagine those who carry their voice and use it to sing for satan. That judgement will be so terrible. Use it to sing the praise of satan and sink people into iniquity with what God gave you.”
The pastor’s remarks come amid ongoing debates around the role of secular music and its influence on society, particularly among young people.
Enenche urged talented individuals to use their gifts to inspire righteousness and lead people to God, rather than dragging them into sin.
