Rotary installs Adedoyin as district governor

Lanre Adedoyin, a legal practitioner and the principal of T.L. Adedoyin & Co., has been installed as the District Governor of Rotary International District 9112, becoming the second person to hold the position since District 9110 was split into two.

The atmosphere in Ikeja was electric, as dignitaries, Rotarians, friends, and family gathered to honour a man whose journey in service has been inspiring.

The installation ceremony, which was held at Alausa, Ikeja, drew a distinguished crowd from across Nigeria and beyond. The event was anchored by the respected actor, TV presenter, and cultural figure, Yemi Sodimu.

Adedoyin began his career in a law firm before establishing his own, which is now accredited by the Council of Legal Education to train Nigerian Law School students.

Over the years, he has earned a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and a genuine commitment to societal growth. His dedication extends far beyond his legal practice. He is a long-standing member of several professional and community-based organisations.

The Rotarian’s contributions have been recognised by educational, religious, and social institutions, many of which have honoured him with awards of appreciation.

Hailing from Oro Kingdom in Kwara State, Adedoyin is also remembered for the role he played in the development of his hometown while serving as the Governor of the Elegant Club of Ijomu-Oro.

He officially joined the Rotary Club of Surulere South on August 21, 2003. Since then, he has steadily risen through the ranks, holding various leadership roles and making a lasting impact at every stage. From 2008 to the present, his record of service speaks volumes.Notably, he was the first Rotarian in the newly established District 9112 to be appointed as Class Captain of Assistant Governors.

In a rare gesture of generosity, he funded the legal incorporation of Rotary International District 9110 at no cost, reflecting his deep commitment to the Rotary cause.

Over time, he has received several humanitarian awards and commendations for his service, both within and outside the Rotary family. Adedoyin is married to Iyabo Adedoyin, a successful entrepreneur and Paul Harris Fellow, and the union is blessed with three children, all of whom are Rotary Alumni.
