The Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has mourned the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, describing him as a principled and patriotic Nigerian who made significant contributions to Nigeria’s development.

In a statement made available to The Guardian on Monday, Tompolo stated that Buhari was not a materialistic person and was content with what God had blessed him with.

He said Buhari wanted the best for Nigeria and appointed persons of character, goodwill, and vigour to serve the country while he was President.

He added that Buhari hired Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited to handle the surveillance of critical oil and gas facilities in 2022, when the country’s oil and gas infrastructures were bleeding.

He said the development had led to record oil production in the country and increased government revenue.

Tompolo said Nigerians would miss Buhari’s contributions to the country’s unity and peace and extended his condolences to his family and the nation.
