Skyewise CEO, Abuyere, honoured at Nigerian Silent Heroes Award

The CEO, Skyewise Group, Dr. Elvis Abuyere, has joined the list of eminent Nigerians recognised for their endeavours and significant impact in selfless service to the country and touching the lives of citizens at the Nigerian Silent Heroes Award held recently in the FCT.

The Silent Heroes Award in Abuja was a convergence of high-profile personalities, including the founder of UK-based Myrtle Healthcare Ltd, Tamuno Tonte Abban, Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, Emir of Kano, His Highness Muhammadu Sanusi II, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, and a host of others.

The award on June 14, 2025, was organised by the Nigerian Silent Heroes Awards Initiative (NSHAI) and celebrated Dr. Abuyere and other individuals who have made quiet but powerful impacts in enhancing the lives of citizens.

Dr. Abuyere was honoured as Silent Hero in Business and Youth Empowerment at the 7th edition of the Nigerian Silent Heroes Award, while IGP Kayode Egbetokun, represented by the Force Public Relations Officer, FPRO, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, received the Silent Hero in Policing award.

In her address, the Project Coordinator of the 2025 Silent Award ceremony, organised by the Nigerian Silent Heroes Awards Initiative (NSHAI), Mrs. Odita-Sunday, congratulated awardees who have impacted society through selfless service.

Recently, Skyewise Group marked its 10th anniversary when the company embarked on CSR campaigns targeting persons living with disabilities. It was also an opportunity to reward staff, appreciate customers, and acknowledge its stakeholders. A brand new car was given out to one of its brand ambassadors.

It has also doled out the sum of N7m in Business Support Fund, which saw six young entrepreneurs who emerged winners at a business pitch tagged “Meet the CEOs” go home empowered in order to boost their businesses.

The company also makes massive investments in entertainment, as it was just recently listed as the headline sponsor of Comedy and Lifestyle, spearheaded by renowned Samuel Aikhionbare, better known as MC Papi.

It also did not long ago present a N5m cheque to the winner of Davido’s Abuja Timeless concert at Abuja Eagles Square.

He was unavoidably absent during the award but was represented by his PR consultant, Alex Nwankwo, who commended the organisers for the recognition, assuring readiness to continue making contributions towards the development of the country.
