EHA Clinics Kano reaccredited by JCI, celebrates 7 years of ambulatory care excellence

EHA Clinics has announced the successful reaccreditation of its Kano facility by the Joint Commission International (JCI), coinciding with the organisation’s 7th anniversary. This reaffirmation of its global standing underscores EHA Clinics’ unwavering commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centred care.

Remarkably, EHA Clinics Kano remains the only ambulatory care clinic in Sub-Saharan Africa to hold this prestigious international accreditation. The 2025 JCI audit also extended accreditation to the clinic’s Dental and Eye Care services—an endorsement of their compliance with JCI’s rigorous global standards.

“To receive JCI reaccreditation during our anniversary season is a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come,” said Dr. Ifunanya Ilodibe, CEO/CMO at EHA Clinics. “This reaccreditation reinforces what we’ve always stood for—excellence without compromise.”

Senior Manager of Clinical Services, Dr. Mujidat Babah, emphasised the depth of commitment it takes to maintain JCI standards. “Reaccreditation is not automatic. It is earned through rigorous audits, discipline, and an unrelenting commitment to safety and quality,” she said. “The positive feedback we received, especially regarding our quality audit systems, validates the immense effort we’ve invested.”

Since its founding in 2018, EHA Clinics has been at the forefront of integrating technology with healthcare to offer safe, accessible, and consistent primary care. Over the past seven years, the organisation has expanded its reach and services while upholding its core mission.

“We’re proud to set a benchmark for excellence in ambulatory care and hope our journey inspires others across the region,” Dr. Ilodibe added.
