Olukoya counsels newly ordained 5,000 Pastors to eschew rebellion

The General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Worldwide, Dr Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, has enjoined the newly ordained pastors of the church to be dedicated to their call and shun rebellion. He explained that rebellion is a killer that must be avoided.

Olukoya, who ordained 5, 000 pastors, during the church’s 2025 Global Ministers Conference, tagged: “The Message, The Messenger And The Power,” held at the Prayer City, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, lamented that people rebel in the church.

Citing the case of Absalom in the Bible, who died in war front, as a biblical example, said: “Any rebellion will have supporters, who cheer them on.”He stressed that there are many people on the Internet, who call themselves general overseers, papas, general superintendents and overseers, among others. Such people, according to him, can call themselves anything, adding that with time, “we shall be sifting the weeds from the chaffs.”

Admonishing the pastors to recognise their new status in Christ, Olukoyasaid: “You are ordained today; whose anointing are you carrying; is it oil of God or of man? If it is men’s, you better back out now; it is not too late, you can still back out. The battle shall prove them; the future will tell who the true pastors are. The anointed does not die useless death.

“Others may be washed away like dustbin; others may be wasted suddenly, but not the anointed. The first rule in the school of anointing is that you must be recommended by God. Men may call you, but they cannot anoint you. Satan may call you, but cannot anoint you. We can call you, but we cannot anoint you. You can call yourself, but you cannot anoint yourself. Only God can call and ordain you.”

Olukoya exhort the newly ordained pastors to be careful of their conduct within and outside the Church.
