The live transmission of Big Brother Naija Season 10 was temporarily disrupted on Friday evening due to an unexpected power outage, MultiChoice Nigeria and the show’s organisers confirmed.

In a notice posted on its official Facebook page, the companies assured fans that the housemates were “safe and sound” despite the interruption.

“We’re currently experiencing a temporary break in Big Brother Naija transmission due to a power issue. Rest assured, the housemates are safe and sound,” the statement read.

The notice added that technical teams were already working to restore normal service.

“Our technical team is working swiftly to restore power and normal service. Thank you for your patience. Grab a snack, stretch your legs. We’ll be back serving premium entertainment shortly!” the statement said.

Big Brother Naija, now in its 10th season, remains one of the most-watched television programmes in Nigeria and across Africa, drawing millions of viewers who follow the live broadcast daily.
