Aboyeji, Adegbite predict Bright Future for Nigeria at Anniversary

Predict bright future for Nigeria
By Isaac Taiwo

The General Overseer, Foursquare Gospel Church Nigeria, Rev. Sam Aboyeji in his Nigeria 65th independence anniversary message, assured Nigerians that there is hope for the country to be fully restored economically, as giant of Africa and take its place in the comity of nations because of the significance of the 65th anniversary.

Aboyeji made the prophetic statement yesterday at the celebration of the 70th Anniversary of Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, which coincided with the 65th anniversary of our great nation.

“It is not accidental that the Jubilee Anniversary of Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria coincides with the 65th Independence Anniversary of our great country. It is because our God is ready to turn the unpalatable situation of our country around, provided Nigerians and the leaders are ready to be humble and cooperate with God.

“This place was where the Nigeria flag of green white and green was raised and the Union Jack was lowered. Seven stands for perfection. Whatever was wrong on that day that Nigeria got her independence: October 1, 1960, today that wrong is corrected and Nigeria will begin to do good. This is in line with the Bible of a city that was good but the water was bitter. Prophet Elisha went to the source of the water and poured salt there and the water became drinkable.

“We are pouring spiritual salt on the source of our independence today and Nigeria will experience transformation” he said.

He however warned that the blessings of God are conditional who said that if the people that are called by His Name would repent and turn away from their wickedness, He would hear from heaven and heal their land.

He therefore called on leaders and every Nigerian to abhor wickedness, corruption for Nigeria to undergo transformation.

Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Lagos State, Bishop Stephen Adegbite agreed with Aboyeji that the nation would definitely experience turnaround.
