Babcock rallies graduating students to lofty potential

The Vice-President of Students Development at Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Dr Sunday Audu, has charged the graduating class of 2025 to unlock their potential through constant learning and setting clear goals.

By picking the right role models, Audu said they will escape stagnancy, which can limit their goals. He gave the charge at the school’s graduation and awards ceremony, held at Amphitheatre of Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State.

In his paper titled “Unlocking your potentials and imbibing values that will assure a better future,” Audu noted that potential is not limited to intelligence, talent, or mindset, but encompasses perseverance and the ability to overcome challenges.

He tasked the students to take up the challenge and develop themselves to become relevant in future. President of Babcock University, Prof. Ademola Tayo, commended the graduating students, saying the programme was of great importance to him, as it marked a significant milestone in his leadership at the institution.

The Principal, Dr Bolanle Adebawojo, described the graduating students as shining stars who have made the school proud. She commended them for their outstanding achievements, noting that in a year where competition was fierce and expectations were high, they rose above every limitation, with 18 scoring above 300 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

“Through sleepless nights, early morning and late-night classes, and mock examinations, you showed the young students that success is not stumbled upon, it is earned with diligence, humility and the grace of God,” she said.
