The Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Kayode Opeifa, has disclaimed several unauthorised social media accounts impersonating him, warning the public against engaging with fraudulent profiles.

Opeifa said he had become aware of multiple fake accounts operating under his name across various platforms. He added that he does not solicit assistance, favours, or personal engagement through social media or any unofficial channels.

“My attention has been drawn to the existence of several fake social media accounts impersonating me. I am using this medium to inform the general public that I will never request any form of favour, assistance, or personal engagement from anyone through social media or any unofficial channel,” he wrote on X.

He noted that all official communications from him are made exclusively through his verified handle, @drkayodeopeifa, on all social media platforms.

Opeifa then urged the public to disregard and report any fraudulent pages or suspicious messages claiming to represent Dr Kayode Opeifa.
