The media aide to the Chairman, Zamfara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Muhammad Isah, has announced his defection from the party to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Before his defection, Isah served as the media aide to the State PDP Chairman, Hon. Jamil Jibo Magayaki.

He stated that his decision came just days after the PDP candidate in the State House of Assembly bye-election, Hon. Muhammad Lawal Kurya, also defected to the APC following his loss in the election.

“I remembered the bye-election, held on August 21, 2025, in Kaura Namoda South, Zamfara State, where the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate emerged victorious with a landslide victory”, he added.

Recall that recently, the PDP candidate for the Kaura Namoda South bye-election to the State House of Assembly, Hon. Muhammad Lawal Kurya, defected to the APC.
