Family of stroke patient at FMC Jalingo calls for financial support

FMC Jalingo

Until recently, Amina Ibrahim was a familiar face in the Primary Board Area of Jalingo — someone’s neighbour, someone’s daughter, someone who mattered.

Today, she is lying on a hospital bed at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Jalingo, Taraba State, fighting for her life after suffering a severe stroke.

Doctors say her condition is critical and that she urgently needs sustained medical care, medication and close monitoring. Every hour counts. Every treatment matters.

Sadly, Amina’s family is doing all they can, but their resources have been stretched beyond their limits. The cost of treatment and daily hospital needs is more than they can bear alone.

“Watching a loved one struggle for life without the means to help is a pain no family should face.

“This is why we are reaching out — heart to heart — to kind-hearted individuals, organisations and compassionate members of the public.

“Your support could mean continued treatment. It could mean hope. It could mean life,” said one of her family members.

Recounting how they have exhausted all their hard-earned resources on her hospital bills, the family also called on the state governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, to urgently come to their rescue in order to save her from dying from a preventable ailment.

“How you can help (financial support): Account Number: 2284705578; Bank: Zenith Bank; Account Name: Lawiza Dahiru

“No amount is too small. Every contribution is a step towards keeping Amina alive and giving her a chance to recover,” he pleaded.
