Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle, has announced his 23-man squad for upcoming international matches in March.
The team will feature in a four-nation invitational tournament in Amman, Jordan, during the FIFA international window. The Super Eagles will compete against Iran, Jordan and Costa Rica.
On March 27, 2026, the Super Eagles will face Iran at the 17,000-capacity Amman International Stadium, and on March 31, they will face Jordan.
The team features a solid lineup of goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards, each bringing their unique skills to the table.
In goal, Maduka Okoye from Udinese, Adeleye Adebayo of Volos FC, and Francis Uzoho from Omonia FC have been selected to guard the net.
The defensive line is strengthened by Calvin Bassey of Fulham FC, Hull City’s Oluwasemilogo Ajayi, Birmingham City’s Bright Osayi-Samuel, Bruno Onyemaechi of Olympiakos, FC Porto’s Zaidu Sanusi, Slavia Prague’s Igoh Ogbu, Glasgow Rangers’ Emmanuel Fernandez.
The midfield is spearheaded by Fulham’s Alex Iwobi, Coventry’s Frank Onyeka, Besiktas’s Wilfred Ndidi, Club Brugge’s Raphael Onyedika, and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru from Lazio.
Up front, the team will rely on Ademola Lookman of Atletico Madrid, Samuel Chukwueze of Fulham, and Paris FC’s Simon Moses.
The squad also includes Chidera Ejuke from Sevilla FC, Paul Onuachu of Trabzonspor, Sevilla’s Akor Adams, Hamburger SV’s Philip Otele, and KRC Genk’s Collins Yira Sor.
