Former Minister of Aviation and Ambassador-Designate, Femi Fani-Kayode, has criticised media entrepreneur and politician, Dele Momodu, dismissing his political stance and downplaying the relevance of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Nigeria’s evolving political landscape.
Fani-Kayode, in a statement yesterday, described Momodu’s recent comments on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as emotional, unhinged, and devoid of logic.
He, therefore, warned the ADC chieftain to refrain from misrepresenting facts or engaging in personal attacks.
The former minister, who said he had exercised restraint in the past out of longstanding acquaintance, said that he would no longer remain silent in the face of persistent provocation.
Fani-Kayode further dismissed Momodu’s claims as lacking substance.
MEANWHILE, Momodu, on Facebook, has described Fani-Kayode as a “bully” and defending his professional achievements.
Momodu questioned Fani-Kayode’s professional credentials, saying: “What work or business does Femi do except scavenging for political appointments? He went to Cambridge University… but became an enfant terrible, fighting anyone and anything in sight.”
All supplications and intercessions by friends and family on his behalf have failed to cure his strange malady.”
Momodu claimed that Fani-Kayode had long expected a political appointment and had previously expressed frustration over delays.
