Guests were also treated to an immersive three-course dining experience paired with specially curated Don Julio 1942 cocktails. Each pairing was crafted to highlight the interplay of flavour, aroma, and texture, underscoring the versatility and premium positioning of the tequila brand.

Speaking at the event, Head of Culture, Influencer and Advocacy at Diageo South, West and Central Africa, Ifeoma Agu, emphasised the shared ethos between the brand and the film industry. She noted that both are driven by discipline, refinement, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, adding that the platform seeks to honour African storytellers shaping culture through their craft.

Beyond the discussions and fine dining, the event also spotlighted Nigerian fashion, with a vibrant red carpet showcasing bold and creative expressions of style.

The celebration continued with an Afrobeat-powered after-party, reflecting the continent’s dynamic cultural energy and reinforcing the brand’s “Por amor” philosophy centred on passion, craftsmanship, and meaningful connection.

As the global film industry celebrates its biggest moments, the brand’s Don’s Table serves as a tribute to those dedicated to telling authentic African stories—ensuring their contributions remain recognised and celebrated on the world stage.
