The governor of Agbu Kefas of Taraba state, on Tuesday, approved over N1 billion to sponsor the registration fees for Senior Secondary Certificate Examination, (SSCE).

The initiative, as gathered by The Guardiab, covers examinations conducted by the West African Examinations Council and the National Examinations Council.

The aim, as further gathered by our correspondent, is gear at removinv financial barriers that often prevent eligible students from participating in the critical academic assessment.

According to the state government, the intervention is designed to ease the burden on parents and guardians while expanding access to education for thousands of students across the state.
