TFG 2026 drives efforts to close fashion cluster gaps

The Fashion Games (TFG 2026)

As thousands of producers in Aba lack access to finance, intellectual property protection, skills certification, and market linkages, stakeholders are set to convene in the city for the second edition of The Fashion Games (TFG 2026).
‎
TFG 2026, organised by Ethnocentrique Limited, is scheduled for April 28 to 29 in Aba, Abia State, and will bring together 10,000 fashion producers, buyers, policymakers, and enthusiasts.
‎
The ‎Chief Executive Officer of Ethnocentrique Limited, Irunna Ejibe, said the organisation is building a framework that creates enterprise from existing creativity within the ecosystem by linking stakeholders, including government, the private sector, and a customised apprenticeship system.

‎Ejibe said the organisation’s initiatives, including TFG and the Fashion Future Programme (FFP), have produced graduates and connected producers to buyers as part of efforts to address gaps in the ecosystem.
‎
According to the organisers, the 2025 edition recorded 4,500 attendees, engaged 1,400 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and graduated 2,000 participants under the FFP, implemented in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation.

‎Chief Operating Officer of Ethnocentrique Limited, Jeremiah Ubunama, said the Aba fashion production cluster could grow into a $3 billion market within five to 10 years if supported by adequate financing, intellectual property systems, and market infrastructure.
‎
‎The event, themed “AHIA 360”, will feature an industry session for buyers, policymakers, and MSMEs on the first day, including exhibitions and financing pitches, followed by a public showcase at the Enyimba International Stadium on the second day, with graduation ceremonies, cluster parades, and runway presentations.
