Lagos State House of Assembly

The lawmaker, representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency-01, Ogundipe Stephen Olukayode, popularly known as Omoj’omolo, has officially declared his intention to seek a second term in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Addressing a gathering of constituents from Oshodi-Isolo Constituency-01, the lawmaker anchored his re-election campaign on a track record of visible and impactful governance.

In a speech marked by both confidence and a call for fact-based criticism, Ogundipe invited the public to scrutinize his performance over the last two and a half years, asserting that his administration has moved beyond rhetoric to deliver tangible dividends of democracy.

Highlighting his achievements across the seven political wards of the constituency, Ogundipe presented a breakdown of his interventions in key sectors:

“Over 3,000 pupils benefitted from free coaching initiatives, while 1,200 youths received JAMB forms, leading to over 100 successful higher institution admissions.

“Secured job placements for constituents and provided vocational training for over 200 individuals to foster sustainable livelihoods.

Beyond road rehabilitation, the lawmaker cited the expansion of street lighting and the opening of economic pathways to aid local traders.

“I Facilitated grassroots medical screenings and essential services for hundreds of residents.

“Criticize if you must, but let it be constructive and rooted in truth,” Ogundipe stated.

“Let facts guide our discourse, because the records are clear and the data speaks for itself.”

On the floor of the House, Ogundipe emphasized his role as a vocal representative, noting his sponsorship of people-centered bills and motions addressing critical local issues including flooding, security and sanitation.

He further highlighted his Constituency Support programs, which provided food and financial assistance to women and young girls during challenging economic periods.

The lawmaker called on his constituents to remain aligned with the progressive policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the THEMES Plus Agenda of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

He framed his re-election as a necessary step to consolidate the gains made at the local level in tandem with the state’s broader development goals.

“What you see today is a testament to what focused, sincere, and people-driven leadership can achieve. This is not the peak; it is only the beginning.”
Ogundipe told the crowd.

Closing his declaration with his signature slogan”Together, Everyone Achieves More”

Ogundipe urged the people of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency-01 to follow the process and renew his mandate to continue the journey of progress.

Former Vice Chairman of Oshodi/Isolo Local Government, Daisi Oso, urged constituents to continue supporting him, noting that lawmaking requires experienced hands. He added that Ogundipe possesses the necessary experience to continue in office.

Oso further stated that if re-elected, Ogundipe would become a ranking member, a development he said would benefit the constituency.

A member of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) and leader of the Oshodi/Isolo chapter of The Mandate Movement, Chief Muraina Akanbi Taiwo, represented by Elder Gbenga Arulogun, also called on constituents to back Ogundipe’s re-election bid.

Taiwo urged party members to remain united to secure victory for the APC at the polls, while commending the National President of the NURTW, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo), for his efforts in fostering unity within the constituency.

The GAC leader also endorsed President Bola Tinubu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, and Ogundipe for the 2027 elections.
