DLM showcases talent development culture with “My DLM Story” campaign

DLM Capital Group

DLM Capital Group has launched a campaign aimed at showcasing its commitment to talent development and internal career progression within the organisation.

Titled My DLM Story: Rising Through the Ranks, the campaign debuted in February 2026 and is currently airing across the Group’s social media platforms and YouTube channel, showcasing employees whose careers have advanced through structured growth opportunities, cross-functional mobility and leadership development.

According to the company, the initiative offers insight into a workplace culture that encourages innovation, open dialogue and continuous learning, while demonstrating how staff members have risen through various roles to leadership positions.

Among those featured is Kelechi Eke, the Acting Managing Director of DLM Asset Management Limited, promoted in January 2026, whose journey began as a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member in the administrative team in 2012.

Over the years, she transitioned across several roles, including Executive Assistant, Human Resources, Credit Analysis, and Head of Operations, before assuming her current leadership position.

Reflecting on her journey, she notes, “Anything worth doing at all is worth doing well,”adding that taking ownership has been a defining part of her growth within the organisation.

A similar pattern of growth is seen in Nathaneal Solomon, Managing Director of Citihoms Finance Company, who joined DLM Capital Group in 2014 as an Account Executive at DLM Securities.

His career progression, which included leadership roles such as Deputy Managing Director at DLM Asset Management, culminated in his appointment as Managing Director of Citihoms Finance Company in 2025.

Speaking on his experience, he says, “DLM is an environment that allows you to create ideas, put them to work, and learn from them,” a factor he credits for his long-standing journey with the Group.

For Lola Razaaq, Managing Director of DLM Trust Company, the story is one of sustained growth. Having joined the subsidiary at its early stages as Head of Business Development, she has been instrumental in its evolution over the years.

She highlights the organisation’s culture as a key driver of her experience, noting that “DLM consistently promotes a culture of innovation and encourages work-life balance, to have a life apart from the work we do.”

The campaign also captures more recent experiences, such as Philip Nwafor, who joined the Group as a Senior Analyst in 2022 and has since transitioned into a Business Development Manager role at Citihoms Finance Company.

His journey reflects a willingness to evolve and take on new challenges, shaped by a strong passion for learning.

He describes his experience as a “journey of value to vision,” referencing moments such as his involvement in the formation of the DLM Fixed Income Fund at DLM Asset Management, which formed part of his broader growth within the organisation.

Across their journeys, one thing stands out, Talent Development at DLM Capital Group is intentional and sustained. By creating pathways for employees to grow across roles and functions, the organisation strengthens its internal capabilities, driving stronger performance and reinforcing its position as an innovative, leading development investment bank.
Through ‘My DLM Story: Rising Through the Ranks’ the Group tells more than a story; it reflects a culture where growth happens over time and leadership is developed from within reflecting the work environment that exists at DLM Capital Group.
