2027: APC stakeholders raise N40m to support Ndume’s re-election

The Borno South All Progressive Congress (APC) stakeholders have raised the sum of N40 million to “endorse and support” Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume’s re-election in the 2027 general elections in the country.

 

According to the party, the rased ₦40 million will enable Ndume to purchase his senatorial nomination form ahead of the senatorial election in the District, comprising nine Local Government Areas in Borno state.

 

The Southern Borno delegation led by Hon. Adamu Yamta, paid a courtesy visit to the Borno State APC Chairman, Hon. Bello Ayuba, said: “We formally today inform you of our decision and deliver our resolve to obtain the form for the Senator.to be reelected and represent us at National Assembly for the four years.”

 

Addressing the stakeholders,on Monday in Maiduguri, Yamta said; ” I commended Governor Babagana Zulum for his selfless, people-oriented leadership and an inclusive governance across the state.”

 

Responding to Yamta’s visit to the Chairman of the party, he said: “I expressed my deep admiration for the unity and caliber of party stalwarts and other personalities present:during your coolective visit.

 

“I am surprised by this massive turnout and even more impressed by the quality of stakeholders drawn from all the nine Local Governments of Borno South.

 

“Even members of the state party executive are here. Indeed, Senator Ndume belongs to all of us.”

 

He noted that the Governor’s style of leadership also values every segment of the state, including southern Borno..
