Grace Oyeniyi, Human Resources Director and Practice Development Manager at Bloomfield Law Practice, one of Lagos’s foremost law firms, has been elected and invested as Vice President of the Association of Law Firm Administrators of Nigeria (ALAN).
ALAN is Nigeria’s premier professional body dedicated to advancing the business of law — equipping the administrative, operational, and business-development professionals who sustain the efficiency and profitability of law firms, corporate legal departments, and government legal agencies across the country.
The association’s investiture ceremony held recently, in Lagos.
Oyeniyi’s election to the association’s second-highest office is in recognition of her distinguished contributions to legal practice management.
At Bloomfield Law Practice, she has earned a reputation for excellence in human capital development, operational strategy, and institutional growth, embodying precisely the values ALAN champions.
Speaking after her investiture, Oyeniyi expressed gratitude to the association’s membership and reaffirmed her commitment to elevating standards across Nigeria’s legal management profession.
“Our legal institutions are only as strong as the systems and people behind them,” she said.
“I am honoured to serve and to champion the professionals who keep justice operational,” Oyeniyi added.
Her election signals a growing recognition within Nigeria’s legal community that administrative and business-development leadership is not peripheral to legal practice — it is foundational to it.
The investiture ceremony featured the citation of officers, investiture charge, administration of the oath of office, and presentation of certificates, signifying the official assumption of responsibilities by the new leadership team.
Other elected officers include Modupe Olusoga as President; Bisong Obi-Akatachak, treasurer; Emmanuel Abegunde, Financial Secretary; Angela Emy-Ngoye, Secretary and Stella Ehimare as Assistant Secretary.
The new officers are expected to provide strategic direction, governance oversight, financial stewardship, and administrative leadership for the Association during the 2026–2029 tenure.
